Pioneer Pacific College is a highly focused, private career college that offers diploma, associate's and bachelor's degree programs designed to prepare traditional and adult students to qualify for career opportunities in business, computers, criminal justice, health and paralegal professions. We do this in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere of small classes with individualized attention and lots of interaction among students, faculty and staff.
Faculty are selected for both academic credentials and relevant real world work experience in their field. This assures not only high-quality theoretical instruction but also meaningful instruction on practical application of theory.
Programs are not only designed to accommodate your career goals but also your busy schedules. We offer 1-year diploma programs that can be completed in about 9 months, 2-year degree programs that can be completed in about 17 months, and bachelor's level programs that can be completed in just 3 years. Programs are available on day or evening schedules. Classes are offered year-round, and new students may enter most programs every ten weeks.
Financial aid is available for those who qualify and an active career services office helps graduates identify and get that first great job.

Associate of Applied Science in Business
Pioneer Pacific offers an AAS degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, Administration or Marketing and Sales:
Accounting
The Accounting major integrates a broad background in business administration with a thorough understanding of accounting concepts and theory and hands-on training in computerized accounting. The program prepares students for accounting, bookkeeping, and general administrative positions in private, public, not-for-profit and governmental agencies.
Administration
The Administration major combines a thorough understanding of computer applications with solid foundation in accounting and courses in human resource and organizational management. This program prepares students to be strong individual producers across a broad spectrum of administrative activities and to guide and motivate group efforts toward achieving the organization's desired goals.
Marketing
The Marketing major provides students with an understanding of the marketing process and its role in domestic and international business environments. Courses are design to develop student's abilities to plan, implement, and analyze marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at targeted buyer demographics. Graduates are prepared for a wide variety of marketing support and direct sales positions.
Regardless of specialty, today's businessperson needs to know the latest business trends and information technology advances. Each of the business majors places heavy emphasis on information technology and the computer applications software most widely used in business.
The business department has lecture classrooms and hands-on learning laboratories. Each computer lab contains a local area network operating in a Windows environment. These labs have all the business applications and keyboarding programs taught in the business department plus Internet access.
