Associate of Applied Science - Accounting and Tax Specialist

The accounting and tax specialist associate's degree provides students with a thorough understanding of standard accounting and tax practices, with an emphasis on the skills needed by accounting practitioners: financial accounting, taxation and business fundamentals. The program also provides competency in communications, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences.

Graduates will be prepared for entry-level employment opportunities that may include bookkeeping, accounting and auditing clerk, financial clerk, payroll clerk, bill and account collector, and tax document preparer. The accounting and tax specialist program offers classes taught by business professionals who are dedicated to ensuring your classroom experience exceeds your expectations.
