The University of Illinois Global Campus features a Bachelor of
Business Administration Degree Completion Program and a Master of
Science in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism. We are focused on

name. All degree and certificate programs are created in
collaboration with the colleges and academic departments at the
University's residential campuses at Urbana-Champaign, Chicago

Global Campus courses are delivered online and rely on
asynchronous discussion and collaboration as the principal forms
of communication. There are no class times or scheduled lectures.

campus visits are required.
All Global Campus courses are eight weeks long. The accelerated
format helps working professionals and students with busy
schedules by allowing them to study efficiently and stay focused

The College of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago offers the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree
Completion through The Global Campus.
The BBA curriculum will engage students in courses that cover
strategic management, financial and managerial accounting,
managerial communication, finance, management information
systems, business ethics and marketing. According to the U.S.
Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), business professionals are
among the highest paid workers in the nation, making this program
a launching pad for aspiring students. With a solid understanding
of the functional components of business, graduates will apply
newly gained theoretical knowledge to solve real-life
problems--both while in the program and once they graduate.
Graduates of the online BBA program through The Global Campus

The Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism in the College of
Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign has designed an online Master of Science degree in
Recreation, Sport and Tourism through The Global Campus. This
degree will provide you a quality and highly accessible education
ensuring that you are prepared to meet the changing requirements
of the leisure services industry.
The demand for professionals with an advanced degree in the
leisure service industry continues to increase. Job opportunities
are on the rise in areas such as:

Admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree
Completion Program requires:
- A complete application
- At least 60 prior credit hours (the equivalent of an associate's degree) with a grade of "C" or better from an accredited institution. Request more information for a complete list of required courses
- 2.5 on a 4.0 scale cumulative GPA in all post-secondary course work
- Official transcripts from all prior colleges and universities attended, including prior attendance at any campus of the University of Illinois
Admission to the Master of Science in Recreation, Sport and
Tourism requires:
- A complete application
- Official transcripts from all prior colleges and universities attended, including prior attendance at any campus of the University of Illinois
- Three (3) letters of reference
- A current resume reflecting academic and professional experience
- A personal statement (submitted separate from your application) that will be reviewed closely to identify your interests and professional experience related to parks, recreation, sport or tourism
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; a major in parks, recreation, sport, tourism or a related field will be given preference
- A minimum grade-point average of 3.0 out of 4.0 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate course work
- Minimum score of 600 on the paper-based (or 250 on the computer-based) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for applicants from non-English speaking countries
